How To Make Carrot Halwa




Ingredients :

  • 4 cups grated carrots
  •  4 cups milk 
  •  3 tsps Ghee
  • ½ cup sugar
  •  1 tsp cardamom powder
  •  10 cashew and almonds roasted and broken

Process :

  • Roast the cashew nuts for 2 to 3 minutes and keep it aside
  • Heat the milk on medium-high warmth in a non-stick container until the milk does not stick in the base of the container
  • Take 3 tsps of ghee in frying pan on medium heat , add grated carrots in pan and  fry them for about 8 to 10 minutes. carrot should change its colour
  • Add milk and wait for 10 minutes till it becomes dry
  • Next add sugar and cardamom powder and stir fry for 3 or 4 minutes, halwa starts to leave the side of frying pan
  • Garnish with cashew nuts and almonds
